The Venture Plus 14'0" x 30" x 5" is designed for lighter riders who seek exceptional glide during long days on the water. With its 30" width, it helps shorter paddlers maintain a natural, "straight down" stroke, minimizing the need to over-reach and ensuring a more comfortable paddling experience. The board’s streamlined design reduces drag, optimizes glide, and alleviates the fatigue that can come with using a larger board.
Its 5" thickness ensures lighter riders sit naturally at the waterline, avoiding over buoyancy issues that can be particularly problematic on windy days. The centrally placed carry handle makes it easy to transport, especially for shorter riders, and the board’s thickness is perfect for comfortably carrying it under the arm. While ideal for shorter paddlers, the speed and performance of this board can also be appreciated by taller paddlers as their skills develop.
The Venture range offers two models: the Flow and Plus series, both designed for riders who want to paddle further with straight-line direction—making them perfect for those embarking on long adventures on the water. Available in a variety of sizes, including 12'6", 14'0", and 15'2" tandem options, the Venture range caters to riders of all heights and weights with a selection of widths and thicknesses.
The Venture Plus series takes performance to the next level, building on the success of the Shark Flow series.
Features:
• Constructed with high-density, 1000-denier, double-laminated woven drop stitch and a high-performance carbon-welded triple rail edge, combined with a stiffening spine, these boards inflate to 20 PSI. Together, these features reduce flex by 25%, offering improved stability and enhanced performance on the water.
• The Venture series includes a versatile multi-use D-ring configuration, allowing for kayak seat attachments at the front, middle, or back of the board, as well as the option to expand the cargo area or add extra portage handles when needed.
• For precision and performance, the Venture Plus features a patented Carbon Nose Cone, flat rocker design, water release rail, and a kickpad, all working together to deliver exceptional glide and forward motion, while making advanced maneuvers like step-back turns easier to master.
• The Venture comes with a patented Smart-Tec fin and finbox, making it simple for first-time paddlers to just "click" and go. As skills progress, this system also supports a range of universal (US) fin options, offering increased versatility and performance. Plus, the fin design allows the board to be easily rolled up for convenient storage and transport.
