Designed to maximise performance, the Lava is a lightweight and forgiving SUP Paddle built to  excel in all conditions from flat water to surfing, versatile, strong yet super lightweight, it is the perfect solution if you want one paddle to do it all. 
Its adjustable length makes it suitable for those who might need to share between families, or who paddle in a mix of environments and styles, and easier to transport than a fixed length single piece paddle.  

It shares much of the same DNA as the premier race and surf paddles (Hydro and Surge) used by international race stars and performance coaches Michael Booth and Seychelle SUP, but features a more forgiving blade design that’s better suited for a less aggressive and lower cadence paddle stroke making it suitable for recreational or professional paddlers who want excellent performance from their paddles.
 
The handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and to prevent injury, and the adjustable section of the shaft does not twist, making it stiffer and allowing greater power transfer than traditional 3 piece paddles. 

Black project offers three blade sizes, two shaft diameters, the Lava caters to all paddlers in all water conditions from surf to flat water cruising and travel.
